Richard holds the cause very close to his heart and was delighted to be able to nominate Hinckley Concordia Theatre for the donation.
The year it all started – 1969
The same year as 18-year-olds were given the vote; Concorde flew for the first time; Prince Charles was invested as Prince of Wales; Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the moon and the first steps were taken in Hinckley towards a town theatre.
They rely on generous support to continue their work on stage, develop new artistic activity and create opportunities for people to share the power and pleasure of the arts.
